Modern Bungalow in the Heart of the NRG

This modern bungalow is located within walking distance of the New River Gorge National Park and only a 5 minute drive from downtown Fayetteville! Spacious open living space filled with natural light make this bungalow a great place to relax after enjoying all of the adventure the New River Gorge has to offer--such as, rock climbing, white water rafting, & mountain biking! Welcome to my home! I'm excited to share my cozy space with you while I'm working at the AAC Campground--located just down the road. We've filled the space with all new furniture while incorporating some of our favorite mid-century modern pieces! Since this is our residence during the off-season, it is fully equipped with kitchen appliances, cooking utensils, coffee, & anything else you may need to make yourself a nice meal during your stay. We are coffee enthusiasts! There is an espresso machine filled with espresso beans purchased from RangeFinger Coffee, a local coffee shop in town, as well as ground dark roast coffee & a French press. If coffee isn't for you, we have plenty of teas to choose from as well! The kitchen, living room, and dining room have large windows that fill the space with natural light making our home feel clean and bright. (I absolutely love feeling the warm sun on my face while enjoying my morning coffee!) The open floor plan makes our home great for hosting groups! You can enjoy each others company while making meals, dining, or relaxing on the couch. *NOTE: There is one small step from the front living room into the dining room and another small step that goes from the kitchen to the back bedroom. Be careful & watch your step* There are three bedrooms, one of which is a combined living room and office space. Each bedroom has a full size bed. There are two full sized bathrooms, each attached to a bedroom. Fresh towels, soap, shampoo, & bath salts are provided. *NOTE: You have to walk through the at least one bedroom to access a bathroom.* Although we do not have a TV, there is quick wifi connection that will allow you to stream movies from your computer. I intentionally do not have a TV in the home, as I'd love this space to be used for gathering, sharing ideas, & conversation. There are plenty of board & card games available for your entertainment. There is also a desk located in the back bedroom for those who need a place to work remotely while traveling or visiting the area. We are located within walking distance of the New River Gorge National Park. Junkyard Crag & Bridge Buttress are a short hike away. If you're rafting or adventuring with Adventures on The Gorge, this is an excellent location as they are within walking distance from the house. With only a 5 minute drive from downtown Fayetteville, you'll have quick access to--Pies and Pints Pizza, Rangefinder Coffee, Wood Iron Eatery, Cathedral Cafe, The Tap House, Freefolk Brewery, & Waterstone Outdoors! Parking is located directly in front of the house, in front of the fence behind the series of mailboxes. You should be able to park 3-4 vehicles here comfortably, if you park them perpendicular to the main road (Ames Heights Rd.) You'll be able to access our home via the keypad entry at the front door. I monitor my phone regularly, however, since I live at the AAC Campground located just down the road during the season, I'm only a quick drive or walk away if you should need anything during the length of your stay. I communicate with all guests via Airbnb messenger. If you have a more preferred method of communication, please communicate that to me as soon as possible. For the quickest response from me, please send me a message via the Airbnb app. In the event of an emergency, feel free to call or text my personal phone number provided. This house is in a neighborhood setting, located just off of Ames Heights Rd. We have a fenced in yard, away from the main road and multiple porches for relaxing outside. We are walking distance from the AAC Campground and Adventures on the Gorge. We do have a garage in the backyard that we utilize as a gym. You may see us from time to time entering through the back to utilize the gym space. The gym can be used by guests 18+ with a signed waiver, please reach out if you'd like to arrange to utilize this space as well. We personally take the trash to the dump, 1x a week. Please dispose of any trash in the black garbage bin located on the front porch. Please leave any used towels in the bathtubs to be cleaned prior to your departure.
