Summary: All Frontdesk stays are contactless self-check-in and include Scout, our exclusive digital companion to guide you through everything you'll need before and during your time with us. We're also available 24/7 via text or phone and have a local team should you need anything. Guests are required to follow all regional and building-specific COVID-19 policies. We continue to employ a professional cleaning staff adhering to OSHA and CDC guidelines to make sure your stay is clean and comfortable. The Space: Our 1 bedroom apartment is furnished with a queen bed and has everything you need for a comfortable stay! The kitchen is stocked with cookware to cook simple meals, stainless steel appliances, and a Keurig to enjoy a fresh cup of coffee in the morning. The bedroom walls do not reach the ceiling, giving it an open air feel. During your stay, please keep in mind that our suites are smoke-free environments. Anything in the apartment is yours to use. Make yourself at home once you arrive. While traditional cable TV is not included in your stay, we do provide Roku TV's with apps like Netflix, Prime, Hulu, and more! Feel free to use these services with your own login and enjoy! Guest Access: You can access the building anytime after 3pm by using the lockbox to obtain the keys. We ask that you respect our home and the quiet hours of the community. Our home is not baby proofed, and may not be ideal for families with very small children, however, children are welcome at your own discretion. The Neighborhood: You couldn’t ask to be in a better location! No matter what direction you go or what your interests are, you’ll find yourself surrounded by excitement and adventure. There are endless options for delicious dining and trendy bars, along with parks and attractions. You're steps from the Pappajohn sculpture park, coffee shops, dining, craft brews, boutiques, and live music venues. Bike the Meredith Trail along the lake, watch a play at the performing arts theatre, or check out the Farmer's Market nearby. Getting Around: Des Moines is known to be one of the easiest and fastest places to get around! The downtown trolley offers free rides during the weekdays and passes popular attractions throughout the city. The D-Line runs a free loop every 10 minutes, taking visitors and locals from the East Village to the Western Gateway. Feel like going for a walk? Downtown offers 4 miles of climate-controlled skywalks, that can take you from restaurants, to meeting spots, to local coffee shops. The Des Moines Regional Transit (DART) provides bus services throughout the metro area. Due to the popularity of the city, Uber and Lyft are also easily accessible. Other Things to Note: Please make note there are trains in the area and have potential for noise. Please ensure you are booking with your full legal name. We have a strict 11am checkout. If you'd like to pay to check out later, the latest we can do is 1pm, at $25 per hour. Please let us know one day in advance if this is something you'd like to schedule! At Frontdesk, a core value is to be a good neighbor. We extend this 5-star experience to you, our guests, as well as our property partners. This means we have a zero-tolerance policy for parties or gatherings. To ensure this in the most comfortable and least intrusive way possible, we use a noise sensor to detect the noise level inside of the suite. The number of people inside the suite may not exceed the reserved guest amount at any time. While we do not anticipate the need, following multiple warnings, we will utilize local law enforcement to ensure compliance. If removal is required, it will be done at the guest's expense. Interaction with Guests: Most of our guests prefer to let themselves in with our lockbox entry system; however, we can be available upon request and are always available via phone call or text message should any questions or issues arise.
