Welcome to our 1908 fully renovated carriage house located in historic Hyde Park, Kansas City's first suburb! Our little oasis in the city has all you could want or need for a romantic getaway, family weekend to see our KC teams, or girlfriend retreat and shopping trip! The space Complilmentary bottle of wine, fresh fruit, and a bottle of water for each guest. Complimentary microwave popcorn, Keurig coffee. Fiber internet and TV with a 55-inch high definition Samsung TV, Blue-ray (DVD lending library) Netflix, Hulu, Vudu, and hundreds of cable networks. Fully furnished kitchen with granite countertops, stove/full-sized oven, full-sized fridge, microwave, KitchenAid blender for smoothies, and dishwasher. Full-size washer and dryer. Off-street parking with motion sensor security outdoor lights and cameras. Non-slip material on outdoor steps for added safety in wet or winter conditions. The steps will ALWAYS be clear of snow or ice for the guests. We provide a tie-out for your dog in the small area at the base of the stairs to the apartment, and free doggie poo bags for your convenience. For both you and your dog(s) the neighborhood offers not only the attractive park across the street for a pleasurable walk, but viewing the interesting eclectic early 20th century architecture of Historic Hyde Park homes. Guest access Complete privacy to come and go as you please. Although you will have a lovely view of our private pool from the deck of the apartment, please realize for insurance purposes, it is for our use only. Other things to note Getting in late and want to have breakfast at “home” to save the time of grocery shopping or the expense of a restaurant, and also avoid waste? The Carriage House kitchen is fully equipped for cooking anything you want to cook. Choose from the following items, and we will stock the refrigerator before your arrival: Eggs - $1 each; Slab bacon from local butcher - $1 per slice; Whole wheat bread - $.50 per slice; Butter - $1.50 per stick; Oatmeal - $.50 per serving; Milk - $2 per 1-quart; Tropicana orange juice - $1 per 10-oz bottle; Coffee, creamer, sugar, and sugar substitutes, and vegetable oil are provided. Once you have booked your stay, contact us with your order. The payment can be made through Airbnb after you leave, or by cash while you’re here, if you prefer.
