Our home is nestled down a small hill in a hollow that has a lovely little creek at the back. There are only 2 houses in our small hollow and we share a cul-de-sac. We are a single detached house that backs up to woods and the creek. From the front porch you can see the neighbor's home across the cul-de-sac but from the elevated back wrap-around deck you can only see woods and the creek. We have a very peaceful setting. YET we are only 1 mile and less than 5 min from the charming town square Our home has 2 levels. The main level has all the common areas, 3 bedrooms, and two full baths. The lower level has a bedroom and another full bath along with a full sized washer and dryer. Our home looks like an ordinary Georgia home on the outside but we have made it a modern living space on the inside. We have a huge gourmet custom kitchen, tiled baths with glass enclosed shower and soaking tub. We have comfortable yet modern decor that will certainly please most guests. We keep our yard more woodsy and while we do have grass we do not choke the life out of mother nature but try to enjoy the seasons and the natural habitat. You will find rabbits, deer, and other woodland creatures of all sorts. I especially love all the birds. Guests have exclusive and full access to all living area, bedrooms, bathrooms, and closets galore. Also, I leave my treasure trove of spices for you to use. If you do finish one off it would be so nice for you to replace it if you can. We do not include the garage in the listing. Nor the rooms off the side entrance. We do not rent them out but are reserved for us. We also have the closet under the stairs, sunroom and one bedroom reserved for owners property. We have self-check in and self-catering. We have keyless entry. We have a set of stairs and at the top there is another step to enter the house. WHEN YOU ENTER THERE IS THE STAIRCASE LEADING DOWNSTAIRS IMMEDIATELY TO THE RIGHT OF THE ENTRANCE. I am very available via phone and messages. I am responsive and while not sleeping respond usually within a half an hour. Our home is set off a very quiet well-established neighborhood. It is filled with nice families and brick homes. Our neighbors are so kind and we love living here. There is no place so near town and so private and secluded. You feel like you are way out but our internet speeds are fantastic and restaurants are within minutes. I think it is easiest to get around with a car. Our area has Uber and Lyft. But we are only one mile from Covington Town Square. I have walked it many times. There are a few hills. It is quiet house lined streets and then you get to the stunning historic district and pass the famous Twelve Oaks hotel(in many movies), and before you know it you are on Covington's star-studded sidewalks. The fireplace is ornamental and is not usable.
