These properties share driveway space, directly next door. Perfect for large groups! Guests coming with boats should note that the driveway will only accommodate a single boat at the top. There is a very sharp hill on both sides of the lower drive that may be difficult to get a boat down without causing damage. **If you are looking for a larger space, we have another property right next door. Guests will have full access to the home minus a few locked owners closets. Things to do in and around our lake house: The State Dock has great boat rentals!! They will come and pick you up from the docks at Jamestown (7 min. From the house) and take you across the idol zone! There are also boat rentals at Jamestown Marina. Bringing your own boat? Book a slip at Jamestown in advance! They run around $40-50 per night. Again, it’s less than 3 miles away. The State Park would also be the place to go for hikes! They will have trails, horses and other activities there. Restaurants: The restaurants on the lake are definitely the best... and there are not many “in town”. On the lake- Marina Rowena!! By far best food! Also, State Dock tiki bar and Wolf Creek Fishtails. I would recommend calling first as they are likely operating on different hours now. Off the lake, we do carry out from Guadalajara (Mexican) and Giordanis (pizza). The Jamestown Food truck MAY still be going, but maybe not. You would have to call. A must do is a visit to the Reel Java & Creamery. It is adorable and right across the street from our neighborhood in Timber Point Resort. Grab breakfast, soups and sandwiches or order a pizza for dinner! It’s delicious!!!! Don’t forget to save room for dessert. Somerset is about 40 minutes away from the house and does have a lot more restaurant choices. It’s not a bad drive. There is also a really nice Kroger Marketplace there that we like to go to for groceries. As far as other things in and around the county... check out this website! It does a better job highlighting than I would.
