Take morning strolls to explore the hiking trails in the 600-acre Fenderson Wildlife Commons, spend an afternoon or two antiquing in downtown Wells nine miles east, or take an 11-mile drive to sunbathe and swim in the ocean at Ogunquit Beach, Crescent Beach, or Footbridge Beach. An ideal escape for summer vacationers or fall foliage enthusiasts, this quiet home offers casual comfort with views of the lake and forest. Begin each morning with homemade pancakes in the full kitchen (with a dishwasher) and six-person dining space, use the free WiFi to check the day's weather report, and grab the two beach chairs as you head down to the water's edge. Parking notes: Please park in the driveway only. No parking is allowed on the grassy area to the left of the driveway in front of the shed. The septic system is in this area and can be damaged if cars park there.
