The newly remodeled kitchen is equipped with with stainless steel appliances and features an island, with additional bar-chair seating. There is an adjacent powder room and laundry room, complete with washer and dryer. There are two separate bedrooms on the ground floor, both with private en-suite bathrooms - one is a Queen room and the other, a spacious King Suite, with additional sofa bed. A stroll downhill from the estate in the other direction leads to French Leave Beach, one of the finest beaches on the island and one of the great beaches of the Caribbean. By foot, it’s about 8 minutes to French Leave, a mile-long crescent of pink sand which is literally deserted most of the time. By golf cart, French Leave Beach is no more than 3 minutes from Sweetcorn House. The island of Eleuthera is famous for its 100 miles of spectacular, deserted beaches. The snorkeling, diving, and fishing on the island are world class. Boating, surfing, and other water sports are also popular. There is excellent sightseeing as well. Eleuthera has vast caves, cliffs, a bottomless ocean hole, many unique beaches, historic churches and 19th century homes, and small villages to explore.
