This hidden gem is situated in Elkins, perfectly suited to be your hub to explore the wild and wonderful mountains of West Virginia. Conveniently located in the heart of Randolph County, you will be close to local shops and restaurants while being within a 20-60 minute drive of many fantastic outdoor recreation areas as well as near by mountain towns. Accommodations include 2 bedrooms, full bathroom with W/D, fully equipped kitchen, TV/DVD player, Wi-FI. Bed and bath linens are provided. This small 800 sqft home is open and roomy. A great space to just rest, relax and get rejuvenated in. Get a way for awhile and enjoy some alone time, by yourself or with a few friends or family. Or use as your hub from which to explore the surrounding mountains and nearby quaint towns of Thomas and Davis. There is much the area offers in outdoor actives, whether you like hiking, biking, climbing or skiing. From Blackwater Falls to Seneca Rocks, Seneca Caverns to Canaan Valley, train rides from Elkins to Durbin and biking, hiking or walking the Allegheny Highlands. Guests have the entire house to themselves. I am reachable by phone almost 24/7. If I cannot be reached, my co-host, Katy, is standing by. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any concerns or questions. Tuck-Away is nestled in a quiet neighborhood of South Elkins. It is situated on the corner of 16th St and an alleyway. You are minutes from several grocery stores, Wal-Mart and many local restaurants. Big Timber Brewery is just blocks away. A short drive will get you to downtown Elkins and the train station. there are two parking spaces in the front of the house. You cannot park in the alley. This home has a gas cooking range. If you have little to no experience with using a gas range please be mindful of turning off the burners when finished using as well as placing flammable objects or objects that may melt near the burners.Gas burners also heat more quickly and efficently therefore, food will cook faster than on an electric cooktop or range. For this reason we have provided an electric tea kettle for boiling water for tea, hot cereal and the like.
