Located in the quaint Indian Beach community of Galveston, Texas, you’ll find all the amenities you need at this bright and lovely home called “Shell Yeah” where my home is your home. Indian Beach is unlike most of the other beach communities in Galveston. At Indian Beach all lots are a half acre or larger. What that means is that you have room to play, as houses are not squeezed in one next to the other. At our house you can play tetherball, corn hole toss or have a cookout downstairs and still have plenty of room for other activities. And best of all, you are less than 100 yards from the beach. 'Shell Yeah' is your home away from home on the Gulf Coast. Your vacation rental features an open floor plan that spans the length of the house and features a wall of windows for spectacular views of both the Gulf of Mexico and the Bay. The living, dining and kitchen areas are all spacious and flow together with hardwood floors throughout. You’ll love cooking in the well-equipped kitchen that feature granite countertops along with custom cabinetry. The dining area has a large dining room table with seating for six and additional seating at the kitchen bar. You could also choose to eat out on the deck where you will find a spacious table and seating for eight. The living room features a comfortable seating area with two large couches, an oversized chase lounge, a large flat screen HDTV, DVD player, as well as a selection of board games. The master suite (with private access to the deck) has a very comfortable king-size bed, flat screen TV, and a large bathroom with double sinks. The other two bedrooms face the bayside and both have bay water views. Bedroom 1 has a queen-sized bed and flat screen TV, while Bedroom 2 has a twin-over-full bunk bed (+ trundle bed underneath) and a flat screen TV. Outdoor living: You will love the VERY large covered deck w/outdoor dining area. From the deck enjoy the cool coastal breezes and take advantage of both the views and sounds of gulf waves. Inside or out you will marvel at the spectacular sunrises, moon rises and starlit nights. There is a large open area under the home that offers additional space for outdoor fun and entertaining. Amenities: central AC/Heat, wireless high-speed internet, TV’s in each bedroom as well as the living room, digital cable, large refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, full size washer/dryer, grill, large deck with covered & uncovered areas, and outside shower area. When you come in from the beach, you can rinse the sand off without tracking it inside. It is the perfect vacation home for families.
