Unique Waterfront Yurt Getaway Experience-Glamping

A private Yurt on waterfront property located 30min from Ottawa. This Yurt is located on a large private property at Hay's Shore Estates (6 acres) which is a small private community. Enjoy a beautiful campfire with your family or friends while gazing at the night stars over the water. Walkout on your private dock and enjoy beautiful sunsets casting over Mississippi Lake. This unique Yurt experience is "glamping" at its finest and we hope you will enjoy this ultimate relaxing experience. This unique 20' diameter 314 sq ft Yurt is an open concept studio layout with a queen size bed and a living room with double / sofa pull-out-bed. This upgraded Yurt has a 3 piece washroom which includes a flushable toilet, sink and hot water shower. You will be glamping with a complete mini kitchen that includes a fridge/freezer, two burner cooktop, toaster oven, microwave and coffee machine. There is also an outdoor BBQ on the deck with propane tank included. We have an outdoor picnic table for dining and comfortable Muskoka chairs to enjoy a drink watching the beautiful sunset. This site has its own private dock for access to Mississippi Lake. The electric fireplace complete with heater and portable AC unit helps to ensure you have the perfect and comfortable temperature during your stay. High Speed Wifi is provided, Amazon Fire Stick TV, Netflix and DVD player are provided. Why work from home when you can work beside the lake. You will have access to your own private Yurt property as well as walking around on the 6 acre Estate. There is an E-Grocery pick up location on the property as well as a take out and outdoor dining restaurant available Wednesday thru Sunday. Menu is posted in the photos We give our guests space to relax and enjoy but if needed my husband Sadiq or I can be available. We live a 2 min drive away from the Yurt. Carleton Place is a small town feel with all the major amenities at your fingertips. A quick 10 min drive you have access to Walmart, Independent, LCBO, Beer Store, Cannabis Store, McDonalds, Tim Hortons, A&W, Dairy Queen, Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital, local restaurants and gas stations. There are local walking trails, public parks and beach access. You can bring your ATV, side by side or bicycles as the Ottawa Valley Recreation Trail (OVRT) is 2km away which connects neighbouring towns. You will need a car to get here but once you have arrived, you can unwind and relax. With on site grocery and restaurant (takeout on the weekends) you have what you need to enhance your Yurt experience. There is access to canoes, kayaks and water bikes for additional charge. SUP - Stand Up Paddle board rental and classes available on site. Boating or Fishing Excursions via "Airbnb Experience" are available upon request. A public boat launch is available for water enthusiasts. Firewood is available on site for $10/night
