In its day, the Airstream Land Yacht was most luxurious camper conceived. We are the third owners of this beauty - all original and in pristine condition. Two full size beds, sleeps four. Glamping = Glamorous Camping. Let us handle the set up, you're here to relax! We have three cabins and three vintage trailers to rest your head next to the beautiful Tobacco River. The kitchen/bathroom in the unit aren't functional, but you have access to a nearby porta-potty, community kitchen and showers. Whether your thing is hiking, biking, swimming, rock climbing, fishing or forest bathing, we've got you covered. Come to Tobacco River Ranch for the recreation, but stay to relax! You will experience wildlife, great vistas in a natural setting, but in the comfort of a bed with linens supplied. (And a bath towel, beach towels not supplied.) There is rugged terrain on the property and you will need good walking/hiking shoes. You can unload right next to the unit, but then park in designated parking. Toilets are also 100-200 feet from each cabin or camper. If you know any ranchers, you'll know we are "busy" in the summer. We are low-key, and hope you are too! Our website has lots of tips for the area, and there's also info and maps in the community kitchen. Glamping on our ranch is best suited for folks who are self-sufficient campers. We are about a mile outside of the town of Eureka, but you'd never know it. Our land borders state land and is quiet and free of night light pollution! Excellent star gazing and wildlife viewing. Eureka is a sweet small town, with everything you need - but without crowds. We are truly the Last Best Place. Just an hour from the Flathead, 1 1/2 hours from Glacier Park, and 1 hour 15 from the Kootenai Falls. Ten miles from the Canadian border. Come to Northwest Montana, and experience Montana without the crowds! Our ranch comprises 450 acres of trails and forests and farmland, 1 1/2 miles of river, is adjacent to state forest, and Rails to Trails runs through our property. You can easily walk to town, bike to Lake Koocanusa on Rails to Trails, or spend all day just swimming or walking the trails on our property and watching wildlife. Glacier International (also called Kalispell Regional) - FCA - is the nearest airport. Allegiant offers REALLY cheap flights from the West Coast...Alaska too - and Delta and United fly direct from Denver and Chicago. We are just over an hour from Kalispell - a gorgeous, easy drive. We are also just over an hour from Libby and the Kootenai Falls, a MUST SEE when in Montana! Other Area Tips: ~Stone Hill Rock Climbing = 15 minutes ~10 Lakes Scenic Area = 1 Hour ~Lake Koocanusa = 40 minute bike ride on Rails to Trails, or 10 minute drive ~Stonehenge Replica + Air Museum = 10 minutes (Reservations Required) ~Our area boasts two of the best golf courses in Montana. ~Excellent biking trails right from our property, and beautiful quiet country roads. This unit is right next to the river, might not be suitable for small children.
