Summary: All Frontdesk stays are contactless self-check-in and include Scout, our exclusive digital companion to guide you through everything you'll need before and during your time with us. We're also available 24/7 via text or phone and have a local team should you need anything. Guests are required to follow all regional and building-specific COVID-19 policies. We continue to employ a professional cleaning staff adhering to OSHA and CDC guidelines to make sure your stay is clean and comfortable. The Space: Our two-bedroom apartment is furnished with two queen beds and has everything you & your guests need to enjoy your stay in Des Moines! The kitchen is adorned with stainless steel appliances, a Keurig coffee maker, and basic cookware to cook simple meals for a cozy night in! A washer and dryer are also available inside the apartment for your convenience. Anything in the apartment is yours to use. Make yourself at home once you arrive. While traditional cable TV is not included in your stay, we do provide Roku TV's with apps like Netflix, Prime, Hulu, and more! Feel free to use these services with your own login and enjoy! Guest Access: You can access the building anytime after 3pm by using the lockbox to obtain the keys. We ask that you respect our home and the quiet hours of the community. Our home is not baby proofed, and may not be ideal for families with very small children; however, children are welcome at your own discretion. The Neighborhood: Our suite is located in the vibrant Gateway District of Des Moines. You’ll be steps away from the Pappajohn Sculpture Park, the city’s corporate center, and some of the best eateries in town. While you’re in the area, grab breakfast at Horizon Line Coffee, stop for lunch at Bubba, and treat yourself to a nice dinner at Django. The Gateway District is bordered by Downtown Des Moines, where you can visit the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden and the Iowa State Capital building. Getting Around: Since Des Moines is a small city, getting where you need to go is simple. The Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) operates bus lines that span the city and reach many of the city’s most popular neighborhoods. The apartment is nearby a few bus stops and the D-Line shuttle, which you can use to get Downtown. Uber, Lyft, and taxi services are also readily available around the city. If you need to travel further, rental cars are readily available at the airport. Other Things to Note: Please make note there are trains in the area and have potential for noise. Please ensure you are booking with your full legal name. We have a strict 11am checkout. If you'd like to pay to check out later, the latest we can do is 1pm, at $25 per hour. Please let us know one day in advance if this is something you'd like to schedule! At Frontdesk, a core value is to be a good neighbor. We extend this 5-star experience to you, our guests, as well as our property partners. This means we have a zero-tolerance policy for parties or gatherings. To ensure this in the most comfortable and least intrusive way possible, we use a noise sensor to detect the noise level inside of the suite. The number of people inside the suite may not exceed the reserved guest amount at any time. While we do not anticipate the need, following multiple warnings, we will utilize local law enforcement to ensure compliance. If removal is required, it will be done at the guest's expense. Interaction with Guests: Most of our guests prefer to let themselves in with our lockbox entry system; however, we can be available upon request and are always available via phone call or text message should any questions or issues arise.
