Brand new Enchanting two story cedar and glass couple's retreat featuring an eclectic mix of mid-century modern, industrial and artist influences. The home has one bedroom, one bath, and a laundry/office with a rooftop deck. Living room and a fully equipped kitchen are on the first floor with a ground level outdoor deck. Bedroom and laundry/office both open onto the rooftop deck through sliding patio doors where you find yourself at eye level with a grove of black walnut trees, like a treehouse The home is a perfect retreat for a couple just wanting to get away but there is a twin bunk bed in the laundry/office for an occasional guest. Bathroom features a 16” rain shower and a big old cast iron soaking tub. You can lay in bed watching the sun rise and sit on the kitchen deck to watch the sun set The whole house is accessible to our guests. The garage is not available. You are welcome to roam around the 2 acres of yard and garden. I live in the neighborhood, so just text me your questions. They can be quickly addressed. This guest house sits on 2 acres, is powered by solar energy and located just one mile from historic Keeneland Race Course and Lexington Bluegrass Airport, only 14 miles to the KY Horse Park. It is the home of several deer, some rabbits, raccoons, birds and a shy fox. And just for fun the neighbors have burros, sheep and cattle as well as horses that are usually in view. US 60 runs east and west by Keeneland and the airport. Lexington and quaint Versailles are both just 4 miles from the home. Access to interstate 75 and 64 is a short drive. Kentucky Horse Park is a short drive, as well as famous horse farms like Winstar and Gainesway. Historic roads lead to Midway and Millville for great dining and bourbon distillery tours. Lexington has a great distillery district.
