Charming, cozy and just minutes from downtown Middleburg, the Cottage at Finnway Farm is the perfect home for your next getaway. Located on a private equestrian estate, horses can be seen grazing the fields or in their stables. This original barn has been restored to meet all your needs. Whether you're looking to wine, dine, shop or ride, you’ll be sure to have a memorable time. Guests at Finnway Farm are welcome to explore the property grounds and enjoy the active, vibrant activities we have going on each day. Interested in learning more about the horses? We have full-time staff employed who manage the barn, horses and facilities at the farm. We can arrange for you to meet our little herd and learn more about equestrian life in Virginia. Guests will be provided with handbooks and barn rules outlining what is allowed or not allowed. All guests will be asked to sign an equestrian waiver regardless of horse activities due to the working nature of our farm. Guests are welcome to enjoy the immediate surrounding areas of the cottage. We encourage you to walk the driveways and take in the beauty of the farm. The barn is open 7:30am to 3:30pm and we welcome visitors to come meet our horses and engage with our staff. We have a dedicated barn manager who would be happy to show you around and introduce you to our herd of horses The main residence and all other structures are accessible by permission only or if prior arrangements have been made with farm staff. Entry to any building on the farm, aside from the cottage, is prohibited, unless arranged prior to your visit and a farm staff member is present. The staff at Finnway Farm are here to help make your stay comfortable, safe and memorable. We greet each guest at check-in to give you a tour, explain the farm and barn rules, and answer any questions you may have. The farm is a busy place, so there will likely always be someone on-site to provide you with anything you might need. However, we default to providing our guests with privacy and space so that you can enjoy your time on the farm at your leisure.
