West End Nest is 3.4 miles to Hershey Park and Giant Center. It is a completely renovated vacation home with an open floor plan, 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, located in the small town of Hummelstown. This location offers many shops and restaurants, all within a 1 mile walk. With this open floor plan, there is plenty of space for everyone to eat a meal together, play games, or watch tv and enjoy each others company. Spend quiet evenings in the private fenced yard or relax on the front porch. This home has forced air heat w/ central air and a whole house instant hot water heater, so no cold showers! Also, Fast Wifi and Keyless Entry. Each guest will be provided a unique access code for their stay. The main living area has original hardwood floors, 9' ceilings and a Large Smart TV + over 155 Channels for your enjoyment. Spacious kitchen with stainless appliances, including a dishwasher, 10 cup coffee maker, granite counters, a large island that seats four, as well as a large dining table that seats 10! Well stocked cabinets with all of the essentials for meal prep and enough place settings for any large group. At the end of a long day you can retreat to 1 of the 4 bedrooms which also have Smart TV's, USB ports and extra blankets and pillows for your comfort. This house is perfect for a large family or multiple families. 2nd floor: BR 1: Queen. BR 2: Queen + Single Convertible bed. Lower level (down 2 steps from main living area): BR 3: Bunk Beds w/trundle, connects to BR 4: which has a Queen + Daybed w/trundle. Bedroom 4 has it's own door also, so the connecting door can remain closed. There is also a Full Size Sofa Bed in the Living Room. Both full bathrooms have a tub/shower, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, makeup remover pads, hair dryers and plenty of towels for everyone. Half bath and Laundry also have all the necessities. Enjoy the private, fenced in yard with comfortable seating as well as a picnic table to enjoy an outdoor meal! Quiet evenings on the front porch are also pleasant in this small town. As a Host, my aim is to ensure that you have as comfortable and enjoyable stay as you possibly can. I want you and your guests to create lasting memories during your stay at our place. But to do so, I would really appreciate if you could follow the below house rules. These rules ensure that we can provide future guests with a great experience also. Homes are in close proximity in Hummelstown. We want all of our guests to enjoy their visit. If you are planning on a loud gathering or socializing outdoors after 10pm, this is not the place to stay. Our place is located in a quiet, residential part of town. Out of respect for the neighbors, outside noise levels must be kept to a minimum, especially between 10pm - 8am. Our quiet hours are extremely important and must be adhered to by all guests. Our neighbors WILL contact us or the police if need be and we will be required to enforce our house rules. We want to avoid this uncomfortable situation at all costs and ensure our property is 100% suited for every group who stays. The property is thoroughly cleaned and inspected for damages prior to each guests' stay. If however, you find that we have missed something, please notify us of any problems or damages immediately. *Primary renter must be a minimum of 25 years of age and must present a valid drivers license through messages after making reservation. Please do not send a request to book unless you are at least 25 years of age* There are security cameras located on the exterior of the home. Tampering with these will result in a $200 fee and/or cancellation of the remainder of your stay, with no refund. Check in 4pm or later No Smoking or Vaping on the property. Absolutely No Pets allowed, No exceptions due to health concerns. No Parties or Events No unregistered, overnight guests permitted Exceeding reserved guest amount will incur extra charges No burning candles inside the house Use make-up remover pads (instead of towels) located in all bathrooms Do not remove towels from the property, there will be a $15 charge for each missing towel Absolutely no fireworks of any kind on our property. Be respectful of neighbors and keep outside noise to a minimum between the hours of 10pm-8am. Fire pits or any type of open burning is not permitted on our property due to the boroughs distance requirements. Breaking ANY house rules may result in cancellation of the remainder of your stay, with no refund. As with all homes in Hummelstown you will hear the occasional train horn. ***Security Deposit - Security deposit is fully refundable, provided the following provisions are met: - No damage is done to the property or its contents, this includes inside and outside areas. (A log of before and after pictures of the property is maintained to avoid any conflicts) - All trash is placed in refuse containers in the backyard. - Any soiled dishes should be placed in dishwasher and turned on prior to checkout. - No items or linens are lost or damaged - No missing remote controls, ($50 charge per remote if missing) - Check out by 10am. Guest access You will be able to access the entire living space. The basement and garage are not accessible to guests. There are security cameras on the exterior of the home.
