We are slowly making improvements to the house inside and out, in between renter dates. Starting with mattress covers, pillow covers, new bedding and new bath towels. Air conditioning through out whole house. (These improvements will not affect the use of any of our rental property.) We have parking for three at our rental, including inside and outside the garage. We are located In big Creek Association, where our house is lakefront and beside the creek also. (Guests are not allowed to use association docks) The roads in and around our association provide light and slow traffic, making it perfect for walking jogging biking and golf carts. Our property manager, lives conveniently close to our Higgins Lake Rental. He will contact you the week of your stay. His name and number are also listed on your welcome letter/house rules list, that is on the welcome table inside the house. We live just a short drive away and welcome any communication to help with the needs of our renters. We look forward to hearing from you, and helping you enjoy your stay at our home. Our Lakefront Creekside home is located on the highly sought after West side of Higgins Lake. 2 miles from North Higgins Lake State Park, and 1 mile from Public boat launch. (Bring your kayaks bikes or state approved golf carts and orv’s) We are part of an association called Big Creek Association. Our neighborhood consists of roads with very slow moving and very light traffic. The roads are perfect for walking jogging biking and golf carts. (Because we are close to our association neighbors, we have a max of 10 people allowed; and absolutely no parking on any of the roads surrounding our house). We are just a very short walk to the Silver Dollar grill and pub, with wonderful food and a fun atmosphere. We are also very close to several parks, boat launches, and trails for walking biking and ORVs. Snowmobille trailheads are just up the road. Ice fishing is amazing!! Higgins Lake has absolutely crystal clear turquoise waters, with a soft sandy shallow perimeter. The lake is absolutely perfect for young children, and activities such as kayaking boating fishing skiing and ice fishing. We are also a very short drive to the Au Sable River for more great kayaking and fishing. Our home is within big Creek Association on Treasure Blvd. We are conveniently located just a couple minutes off from US 27 and also two small blocks from “Old 27”. We have parking for three at our rental, including inside the garage and two spaces outside the garage. If you bring your own boat, (We provide 2 Moorings about 100yards from the house) there is space in the front yard where you could park your empty boat trailer. Please ask about that parking. (no “beaching” of kayaks jet skis or boats) We provide 2 mooring spots, if you bring your own boat; in the shallow waters in front of our house. (The dock is for association members only.) Renters are solely responsible for making sure moorings, boats, JetSki’s, kayaks… are secure and a safe distance away from other boats and jet skis.
