Academic Avenue (No cleaning fee)

For security reasons this listing is limited to women. No cleaning fee. Three additional rooms listed under "Other Details". Academic Avenue faces the back of my house and located at the end of the upstairs hallway. Kitchenette/laundry center shared with 3 other guests (laundry center hours 9AM-9PM), and the bathroom, with 2 others. Individually packaged bars and oatmeal packets are available for complimentary breakfast. Coffee pods and tea bags are available throughout the day. This bedroom has the most sunlight-potential of all rentals here - but also has window blinds and room-darkening curtains for those preferring to sleep during daylight hours. Because it's a smaller room, I removed closet doors and placed a student desk in the "alcove" created - but you also have plenty of room to hang clothing largely out of sight. The "alcove" contains three shelves and means to plug in a computer or cell phone charger. All drawers have been emptied in the dresser and nightstand with the exception of a bottom dresser drawer in which I store clean towels and linens. Your towels (and individual bathroom mats should you want them), are hung on a stand beside the desk. Pictures include calming scenes painted by my mother. A shared kitchenette/laundry area is available as well as an apartment-sized refrigerator/freezer; a laundry center, large sink, toaster oven and microwave, silverware, bowls, plates, etc. are provided. Guests enter the house through a screened-in front porch then enter through a main door, using their assigned code for the smart-lock. In the foyer and to the right, hand-sanitizer is available for use prior to walking upstairs. All Airbnb rooms are located on the second floor. Turn left at the top of the stairs (shared bathroom is across the hall, there), and passing refrigerator and kitchenette/laundry center on your right, Academic Avenue is straight ahead at the end of the hallway. Feel free to relax on the front porch as weather permits; it's a great place to have coffee! Doors leading to my living area will generally be closed. I'm available, however, should you need me; just knock at the kitchen door or text - or check for me outside. I will try to be on-hand when you first arrive. Our neighborhood is configured in a large circle with 3 cul-de-sac-like arrangements. If you turn right when leaving my driveway then bear left going around the block, you will arrive back here. My property backs to a wooded area and adjoins County parkland so during the day you may hear children at play or neighbors out for a walk. Two parking spots in driveway are generally used by longer-term guests and arranged with host. Street parking is available in front of the house; either beyond the mailbox/maple tree or before the driveway. If parking before the driveway please use mine to turn around in - not the neighbors'. If parked beyond the mailbox, smaller cars can easily do a 3-point turn or just continue up the street, bearing left until you come back around to Burnett Dr.; then turn right and you’re one house away from our development entrance. Three other listings are available on this floor: Serenity Way, Hodgepodge Lodge and Home "Suite" Home. Given the schedules of other guests l appreciate having the house quiet after 11PM.
