The Cozy Nook

The Nook is a fab family room for parents and kids 5 and over only, or 2 adults, but not 3 adults. Not crawler or toddler friendly unfortunately. The twin over full bunk bed has new comfortable mattresses. The spacious bathroom is shared with the queen room listed under Picktown International. You have access to my comfy spacious living area, kitchen, large backyard and deck with a picnic table. Great access to many Columbus Metro Parks, Museums and 40 min to the Hocking Hills. I hope you’ll enjoy my eclectic living room opening upon the deck. I’ve added decor items and guide books from my travels around the world. Enjoy the picnic table, flowers and roam the backyard. The Ultimate Sac “couches” are perfect for reading and napping. Skylights bring natural light in any time of the day. In the winter we can set up a fire in the gas fireplace although it’s not available for guests to start by themselves as the flue needs a special technique to open and close safely. You have access to the kitchen with laundry, the main living area and only the room/s you booked during your stay unless we make a special agreement in writing. The basement and garage are private. You are welcome to chat with us as we are available and we love to swap travel adventures and share our favorite local venues. I always try to be sure your stay is as pleasant as possible. Down town Pickerington is a pleasant 10 walk away to coffee, pizza, a convenience store and more. The local elementary school within walking distance has a great playground at the corner of Long Rd and Diley Rd opposite down town. Great access to groceries and many restaurants in a 5-10 min drive. Driving 20-35 min gets you to most places in Columbus. Use the side parking in the driveway leaving the left side of the drive clear for access from the garage and backing up. You can always pull to the front walk to unload but please move your vehicle afterward. Upon departure please remove all the sheets and pillowcases that you used, fold the blankets down to the bottom of the bed and place used towels in the laundry basket in the closet.
