Luxury Yurt Palace @ Sugar Creek Sanctuary

Surrounded by hundreds of acres of wild and beautiful forest, this newly built fully climate controlled super spacious luxury yurt palace is perfect for a couple or individual looking for a meditative and relaxing environment that's not too far from Asheville. The space is very clean and colorful with custom woodwork and big sunny windows and is located at the very end of a quiet road in one of the most beautiful coves in the region (and biodiverse places on earth) Features - Fully modern HVAC system for all heating and cooling needs - Spring water out of the tap and shower (yum!) - Fully functional kitchen (minus a big oven) - DSL WIFI (Not as fast as fiber, but can still easily handle zoom, netflix, etc.) - Lots of Space! (main room is 716 sf) - Hiking out the front door - tons of multiple level deck space to hang out on and watch the sky and mountains. Also good for dancing or napping! - We offer all sorts magical things to add to your stay if you like - massage, yoga, meditation, sound healing, mushroom walks, and more.. And if you ever need anything, We are always available to make sure you are cozy. The nearest neighbors are all young homesteader types with amazing skills and stories, but you wont see or hear them from the property. You will hear lots from the non-human neighbors though - This lush forest is filled with the songs of rare birds, owls, crickets, and treefrogs with the only light pollution coming from the moon, stars, and fireflys. There is enough parking space to accommodate 2 cars. The yurt can be accessed by a lower entrance that leads up to yurt via a narrow stair/ladder or an upper entrance with standard stair and door widths. Please note the following! A few things to be aware of - If you are a smoker, I kindly ask that you find a more suitable place to stay. I'm very sensitive to cigarette smoke and find that even when people have smoked outside, the fumes find a way into my home and the smell lingers in the space long after they leave. Thank you for understanding! The last bit of the road getting to my property can be pretty rough if you're not used to mountain roads. I drive up and down it nearly every day with my Prius, but people do sometimes complain about it :) That said, I wouldn't attempt it if you have a low riding car that is also weighed down with a fuly loaded roof cargo carrier or something similar. Typical sedan clearance levels should be a fine though. This is a wild place! We deep clean the space between guests every time, but if you're desiring a completely sterile experience, you might be better off at a hotel as industrious critters can find there way in from time time and little cobwebs can appear in a matter of hours. It takes between 20-25 minutes to drive to Asheville. Cell reception - U.S. Cellular and Verison work well here but others can sometimes be spotty - Luckily though most phones have the ability to make calls and text over WiFi if for some reason your cell reception isn't great
