The Yellow Cottage on the River (w/ Dock Access!)

Our quaint yellow cottage sits on a quiet street where you have plenty of space to hear the cicadas and breathe in the Louisiana air. We're situated directly on the Amite River and this cottage is perfect for anyone who loves to fish! We provide a place to dock your boat, and can even recommend the best routes along the river that we often take ourselves. Please note that we do not allow pets at the cottage so get your fur babies a sitter and come on down. Our cottage is equipped with a fully functional kitchen and sleeps up to 6 guests with two bedrooms and one bathroom. Our living room has a massive sectional perfect to fit the entire group and a TV for relaxing after a long day. In the backyard, you'll have access to the river for fishing, and we even have a porch swing and picnic table to enjoy dinner or drinks outside by the water. You'll have the entire cottage to yourself with plenty of outdoors space to fish or enjoy the local wildlife. This is the perfect getaway spot. Come on down! You'll have access to covered parking in the gravel driveway, and our neighborhood is on a quiet, dead-end street. If you need anything we have both of our numbers listed in the space and can answer any questions about the area. You cross the bridge into what the locals call “Mutt’s paradise” and it is only one street. We live at the end of that street and it is very quiet and tranquil. You need to have a vehicle because it is semi remote. There are stores and restaurants within 10 minutes of our place. You can park under the cover or anywhere in the gravel driveway. Bring your fishing poles and boat if you have one. You can launch your boat about 10 minutes away and tie up at the cottage on a private canal. As a reminder please note that we do not allow pets at the cottage so get your fur babies a sitter and come on down.
