Once inside, walk through the beautiful entryway (complete with shelves and racks for your coats and hats) into the open floor living plan. The updated kitchen with gas range stove, farmhouse sink, stainless appliances, and granite countertops is the perfect space to create delectable dishes like your own version of the brunch staple Eggs benedict (perhaps with a fresh mimosa), a fresh salad with grilled chicken using the gas grill, or a gourmet charcuterie board paired with red wine. Meals are made even better when you take the time to enjoy them with friends and family at the dining table. After dinner, cozy up on the plush couches in the living room around the natural gas fireplace to watch a movie on the smart TV, or enjoy a glass of wine around the outdoor firepit on the back deck that overlooks a lush woodland setting. When it’s time to turn in for the night, you’re sure to sleep like royalty in one of three King beds! Treat yourself by sleeping in (it is your vacation after all) and enjoying your morning coffee on the front porch that offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Before venturing out for the day, carve out time to read your favorite book or work on creative projects or work assignments at the desk area in the upstairs loft. When you’re ready to explore, ride your bike or take a stroll to “America’s Prettiest Small Town,” Black Mountain, just 5 minutes away, or spend the day in the creative and eccentric city of Asheville. Both places offer a number of galleries, boutiques, specialty shops, cafes, and breweries guaranteed to keep you entertained for hours on end. On your way home, stop to catch a glimpse of the sunset over the Seven Sisters Mountain Range at the sparkling Lake Tomahawk. If you visit during the day, pack a picnic to enjoy alongside the water while you watch the ducks bathing, play a round of tennis, or walk the elliptical path that surrounds the lake. House layout: Main floor: Open floor living plan with hardwood floors throughout. There is a mudroom entryway with storage and racks for coats. There is a kitchen with a gas range stove, farmhouse sink, stainless appliances, and granite countertops. There is a walk-in pantry just off the kitchen for storing additional goods. The dining table seats 6. The living room has a smart TV for streaming and a fireplace with gas logs, and it opens onto the back deck which has an outdoor grill and fire pit. There is also a bedroom off the living room with a King bed and full en suite bath with granite walk-in shower. Upstairs: There is a small desk area at the top of the stairs along with a small living area that has a couch and smart TV. There is also a Washer/Dryer in the upstairs loft area behind the double doors. There are two additional bedrooms both with King beds. One has an en suite with granite walk-in shower. The full hall bath has a soaking tub. Please note: The garage can be used for parking. This home is NOT pet friendly. This home is NON-smoking. If you rent Mythical Manor for a month or more, included with the rent will be a $100 monthly power allowance and a $50 monthly water allowance. Any overage will be reimbursed by renter. For the monthly rentals, we will also collect a refundable security deposit.
