The Otaheite House at Miramar is a modern tropical oasis overlooking the banks of the Caribbean Sea. Our holiday home is set against the backdrop of the lush Spring Gardens hills, and has everything you and your family need to relax and indulge from a non clorine pool, gym, tree house and hammock to large bedrooms, bathrooms, jacuzzi and comfortable living spaces. Located 20 mins from the airport, 10 mins from upscale shopping centre with restaurants, cinema, bars, grocery store etc The space is designed to provide a spectacular view of the infinity pool ( 20 steps from your front door ) overlooking the Caribbean Sea and the gentle breaking of the waves will sooth your entire being. The living spaces are large and comfortable occupying over 2250 sq ft. The living room invites you to relax and enjoy the ocean view or doze off to the gentle breaking waves or the waterfall in the triple deck non clorine pool. There is additional space with work desk if needed. Dinning room seats 4-6 persons comfortably. Kitchen is fully equipped with all standard equipment plus Microwave, Toaster Oven , Blender, Coffee Maker, Wine glasses everything you need for living well. A small garden patio in the back is perfect for your morning coffee or sleeping in the hammock. Fully equipped washroom with washer and dryer. The two large bedroom suites upstairs are air conditioned and has each its own bathroom with Jacuzzi in the master bathroom and an external patio on both bedrooms. The entire house is available to the guest. I plan to welcome you on arrival but this may not always be possible. My co-host or myself will be available when needed by internet. The Miramar Complex is a safe, peaceful, serene community of holiday homes both for locals and visitors. The Spring Gardens area is lush green area extending along the Montego Bay Marine Park, Fish Sanctuary and Bogue Lagoon. Other nearby nature attractions include: - the famous Doctor's Cave Beach on the Hip Strip in Montego Bay, about a 15 minute drive away -the 7 Mile Beach in Negril, which is a 45 minute drive away The Fairview Shopping Centre is about a 10 minute drive away and includes shops for anything at all you may need: -cinema -supermarkets -restaurants such as Uncorked, DLE CAFE, Dragon Court Chinese Cuisin, Mystic Thai, Mystic India, Jerkys, Tutti Frutti, among others -banks and ATMS -gas station -Fontana Pharmacy Although public transportation passes along the highway in front of the complex, it is strongly recommended that you have a car ( rental or private driver). Your home comes with personal private parking garage as well as additional secured parking and therefore you can use car rental services from the airport. I can recommend a reliable driver with private taxi service that can take you on trips and adventures to nearby attractions or throughout the whole island. The entire compound is secure with 24 hours manpower. You will be required to provide the names of the persons entering the property.
