Private Lakefront Home in Quiet Residential Area

This peaceful, newly constructed modern farmhouse is a lakefront home located 50 miles north of Manhattan. It sits on one acre of land with 130 feet of lake frontage. Conveniently, less than 2 miles from Metro North train stations and highways, for easy access. Whether it’s grilling out on the deck, roasting marshmallows around fire pit or fishing in the row boat on the lake, this retreat is perfect for any family or business trip. The interior of the home has a modern farmhouse ambiance to include an updated décor and all wood floors. Built in 2016, this two-story home has all the contemporary conveniences. Rooms located at the rear of the house have an unfiltered view of the lake. There is an open first floor design, the kitchen flows into a dinette area providing a large space for gathering. This sizeable eat-in kitchen has a center island along with all large appliances for dining and entertaining. A mudroom is located from the garage and backdoor to store shoes and clothing. The living room is spacious with a gas-controlled fireplace and reading area. The dining room sits six people. A table extension can be added for an additional two seats or extra space, if requested. A half bathroom is located on the first floor. The large two-car garage is available for added parking throughout the visit. The second floor has a master bedroom suite with a generous size bathroom and an entrance leading to the loft used for reading and studying by the large window, overseeing the front of the property. Two additional bedrooms and guest bath are also located on the second floor. The laundry area is located on the second floor between the master bedroom and guest bath. The multipurpose room has several functions. The 75” screen TV is perfect for movie night or sporting events. There is a desk to set up a workstation, equipped with printer and various office supplies. Also, there is an exercise bike and a few minor pieces of fitness equipment for a cardio workout. The La-Z-Boy sofa bed converts to a full-size bed for extra sleeping options. The exterior of the property has a large driveway used for additional parking and activities. Games such as pickleball and sidewalk chalk are available for children and the family. The deck located behind the home has a picnic table, large umbrella, additional seating and a Weber grill ideal for grilling out and entertaining. During the evening, there is a telescope kept in the living room that can be used for stargazing. The backyard is spacious enough for sporting activities such as playing football, kicking a soccer ball or catching fireflies during the evening hours. With an ample amount of firewood, the fire pit is another great option. Roasting marshmallows and smores along with tiki torches, adds to the outdoor ambiance. A 12-foot DuraCraft Jon boat can be utilized on the lake for rowing and fishing. Beyond the exterior of the property, a sandy beach / recreation area is also available located directly across the lake from the property. It has a sandy beach for swimming, a grill and picnic table for cookouts, and swings for the children to enjoy. Guests access the property by a smart lock. An access code will be provided shortly before arrival and will be utilized throughout the visit. Will be available throughout the visit. Our property is designated for families or business trips.
