The Kicklighter, constructed in the early 1890's is Jesup's most beloved historical building. In 2021 major renovations were completed when the 2nd-floor offices were transformed into upscale accommodations. Careful consideration to preserve much of its original charm yet provide guests with all modern amenities makes our property curiously unique. The Mallard Arms Inn offers nine themed one of a kind custom designed rooms. The Mallard Arms Inn, JaJe's Place and For the Love of Yogurt are all locally family owned and operated. When the owners are not on site they can be reached via cell phone & will expeditiously handle any cares, concerns & questions you may have. JaJe's Place offers the best dining view in downtown Jesup while featuring an award winning menu offering daily specials & a seasonally changing variety of extraordinary desserts. For the Love of Yogurt, A Heavenly Creamery & More is Jesup's premier cool treats sweet shop serving up gelato, froyo, smoothies, frappes & more. Both located on the 1st-floor of the property. Jesup is often referred to as the town that trains made and is still a very active railroad town. We are conveniently located across the tracks from The Jesup Train Station and passenger trains continue to stop there daily. A viewing platform is located across the street for train enthusiasts & several of our rooms offer a view of passing locomotives.
