Comfy Private Room #1 in Heart of Camarillo, CA

Welcome to our family home in the heart of Camarillo, a nice safe, established family-friendly neighborhood a mile from the 101 freeway and close to shopping, Camarillo Outlets, nice beaches 15-20 minutes away, an hour from Los Angeles and the LAX airport to the south and 45 min. north to Santa Barbara. You are welcome to stay for 2 days, a week, a month or several months. We are a retired couple and we still live in the home but rent out 2 bedrooms to our guests. We will treat you like family. If you want the feel of a comfy, family style home, you have found the right place. We raised our large family in this home and neighborhood and now we are a recently retired couple who have opened up two of our bedrooms to rent to guests. Camarillo is a quiet community but close enough to big cities and beaches and hiking trails. Our home was built in the 1960's and has a nice feeling to it. It may not be modernized as some, but it's clean and comfortable and in working order. The shared kitchen and other living spaces are open to our guests and we try to make you feel very welcome. Our laundry machines are free and available to our guests as needed. We live in the home and are away only on occasion and available to our guests as needed, either in person or by text. We respect our guests privacy when they are in their own room but welcome you to share our open living areas if you want. It's not a "party" house but is a nice place to rest and clean up from your comings and goings. Guests have private room but will share a full bathroom with one or more guests and have access to our shared kitchen, living and family rooms, front and backyards. Guests may use kitchen to cook and store food. We will be home most of the time and happy to interact but respectful of guests and their privacy when they are in their own room. We live in a family friendly neighborhood of homes built in the 1960's. You may at times hear children playing and light traffic noise. We have nice streets with sidewalks and bike paths which are convenient for walks and rides. We have a few small parks close to our home and a jogging park 2 blocks away. Camarillo is a quiet, "small town" community but close to bigger cities and beaches and great hiking trails. Cars are the best way to get around our area but a mile from us is the Camarillo Amtrak and Metro station and busses are available to travel between cities. Ubers and Lyft rides can be reserved.
