You'll love relaxing in the great room, with its vaulted ceiling & wood-burning fireplace - or step outside and relax by the fire pit. Minutes from the historic Kingston Stockade District & Rondout Waterfront. Centrally located to Woodstock, Rhinebeck, and various ski resorts, orchards & wineries. The Fox Lodge is a spacious home that sits on an acre of private land bordered by 60 acres of undeveloped forest and lakes. The home offers a unique mid-century split level layout with bedrooms on the top floor and ground floor separated by the elevated main living space. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs - one larger room has an en suite bathroom and then two additional equal sized rooms share a jack and jill bathroom. There is a bedroom on the ground floor that has an en suite bathroom as well. All bathrooms are recently renovated and the larger bathroom upstairs has a deep soaking tub. On the main floor is the expansive great room with a wood-burning fire place and plenty of seating. The kitchen with breakfast bar is open to a dining area big enough to seat 10 people and the fire place passes through to the kitchen/dining room for added comfort. Always available to address any questions or concerns throughout the entirety of your stay, as well as provide any additional information prior to your visit. The house is on a quiet country lane with a serene vibe. Beautiful forest landscape surrounds the house. The house is a short (8 minute) drive to Kingston's Stockade District that has great coffee shops, restaurants, bars and shopping. Its about a 10 minute drive to Kingston's Rondout Waterfront that has waterfront dining, additional shops and river activities. There is a public beach during the summer months that is free and has amazing views of the Hudson. An additional 15-20 minute drive brings you to the heart of Woodstock or across the bridge to the historic village of Rhinebeck. Multiple ski resorts and wineries within 30-60 minutes drive. Driving: 90 minutes from NYC. There is a long driveway that fits 4-5 cars, please avoid street parking overnight. Train: Rinecliff Station is a 20-25 minute drive away, serviced by Amtrack. Bus: Trailways bus station is a 5 minute drive away. Note - Uber and Lyft service the area
