The back bedroom, with a double bed is the CAVE and is built into the hillside allowing sleep even on the brightest day. In the living area is a couch and an a trundle twin beds. There is a crib/play pen available for infants and young children. The RedDoor Retreat is located off the parking area at Our Shangra la. Look for the Red Door, there are two of them. Our town is a gateway to hiking, mountain biking, boating, frisbee golf, kayaking, skiing, swimming or taking a tube down the North Fork of the Willamette River. Since we are outside of Oakridge, you need a car or a bicycle to get downtown to Oakridge. It is a bit of a walk but it is doable. My boys use to walk home from school. When the hosts are home they have a service animal that is also a therapy animal and has visited people in hospitals to comfort them, she is very friendly. Up the stairs to the The Wright Place in the trees, A tether ball, badminton and of course the koi pond. No rock throwing in the pond only fish food.
