Come enjoy our newly renovated Rye Beach Cottage! Lake view from living room and deck, 2min. walk to private neighborhood beach and lakefront playground. 10min. drive to Cedar Point, Sports Force Park, Kalahari, Sheldon's Marsh, Old Woman's Creek. Less than 1 mile to Sawmill Creek Golf and 10 min. drive to Thunderbird Hills Golf Course. 15 min. drive to ferry for Kelley's Island & Put-In-Bay. We have 2 smart TV's that you can use with your Amazon, Netflix, Hulu, etc. Our cottage is a 3 bedroom plus a loft area which has a double bed and futon (please note loft area is accessible by ladder). Our cottage comfortably sleeps 8, but with 2 futons can sleep up to 12 people. We also have a tankless water heater so you will never run out of hot water! We provide plenty of bath towels. Also at the cottage are beach towels, beach chairs & washer toss game. Enjoy your lake view with coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening. We have a Keurig with a variety of coffees to choose from and a blender to make those yummy frozen drinks. Everything you need to have fun is at the cottage, but if you want more to do we are a short 10 minute drive to the Huron Lighthouse and pier, a great place to get dinner on the water and watch the beautiful Lake Erie sunsets. Cedar Point, Kalahari & Great Wolf are only a 15 min. drive away. If you are in town for a sport’s tournament, Sports Force Park is only a 10 min. drive. 15 min. to Kelley’s Island & Put-In-Bay ferries. Sawmill Creek Golf and Shoppes is a 5 min. drive and Thunder Hills Golf Course is a 15 min. drive. If hiking if your thing take a short 15 min. drive to Sheldon’s Marsh Nature Preserve or Old Woman’s Creek. If you are looking for a bigger beach than Rye Beach, Nickel Plate public beach is a 10 min. drive and is huge! Note there is a $6 parking fee per car. You won’t regret spending time in Huron and especially at Rye Beach. Our family loves it and I know you will too.
