Greetings from Sebec Lake, Maine. This 3 season home is located on beautiful Sebec Lake in a quiet cove. Guests will enjoy the peaceful atmosphere full of opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors. This property is minutes away from a boat landing and two marinas (Merrill's Marina and Bear Point Marina) where guests are able to rent fishing boats, pontoon boats or kayaks and canoes (note this rental comes with use of one canoe and 2 kayaks). Come, be our guest and make some memories at the lake! With a beautiful front yard and a fire pit nestled in among the trees, guests will feel like they are camping under the stars while toasting marshmallows with the added bonus of retreating to their comfortable sleeping quarters at bed time. Guests have full access to the entire home throughout their stay. The owner's of this property are only 30 minutes away and are available to address any problems or concerns should they arise. This rental is 20 minutes from access to a full grocery store located in Dover-Foxcroft, ME, fuel stations, McDonald's, Center Theater, Foxcroft Golf Club, tennis courts, basketball courts, Peaks Kenny State Park, quaint restaurants, Dunkin' Doughnuts, a Chinese Restaurant, and more! If you are looking to jump on the 4 wheeler trails or snowmobile trails you are mere steps away from both. Our home provides you with an amazing landing spot after your full day of fun. For the fisherman/woman - fish year round or opt to jump in the car and travel approximately 90 minutes to the Penobscot River for a day of fly fishing, white water rafting or lounging on the lazy river. For those who enjoy live bands and DJs, often, one can find one or the other up the road or up the lake at Bear Point Marina where you can enjoy an amazing brick oven pizza and great entertainment. If you are inclined to head out for a hike, you will be happy to know that you are near several major trails including trails at Borestone Mountain and Gulf Hagas. Feel free to bring your 4 wheeler(s) or snowmobiles to jet around our beautiful state during your stay. Trails are steps away from your front door at this rental. Please note that this location does not have ideal swimming conditions. The water is low this year and the bottom is clay like. If you are looking for a place to float, kayak, canoe, fish, dock a boat, lay in a hammock, read a book, play some games with family, enjoy grilled goods and have campfire fun…you’re in luck - this *IS* your place! There is a marina 2 miles up the road, which has a sandy bottom entrance. Many people swim there and you can drop your boat in and putt around the corner to our lake house.
