"Suite" stay with a view at Settle Down horse farm

Settle Down Farm is located on a 10 acre horse farm with a private entrance and parking. It is an entire apartment in the basement of our home. We are a short distance to downtown Middletown, the Appalachian Trail, Harpers Ferry, Frederick and even the DC metropolitan area is within driving distance. Many wineries, breweries and distilleries are located in the area. This is a semi-rural setting with it's own patio looking out over our horse fields. Note: there isn’t a separate thermostat This cute, cozy space is located on a horse farm. You should expect to hear, see and maybe smell various farm animals. That includes our Australian Cattle dog Rodeo and a family of barn cats. Our miniature donkey Romeo makes funny noises and sometimes not at the most opportune time of the day. The apartment is decorated with a western flare and comfortably furnished with a couple in mind. I am available by phone for questions and issues that may arise. You may see me and my daughters outside working around the farm. I do work outside the home but there are often activities going on in the riding ring that you are welcome to watch. Just introduce yourself to one of my daughters who you will find supervising. Rural setting that is a short drive to downtown Middletown where there are a few quaint shops, restaurants, ice cream, parks, farmers markets and local wares.
