Milk Weed Ave - A cozy home with rustic charm!

Located just minutes from the Mississippi, this quaint home is perfect for fishermen, hunters, and families alike. Plenty of space in the driveway to park your boat, trailer, camper, etc and located just a 3 minute walk from the best pizza in town (Saxon Hall). There are 2 boat launches very close to the home - Wildcat Landing(1.1miles) & Lawrence Lake Marina. Brownsville is a quaint town with a cute public playground for kids to enjoy. We are located approximately 20 minutes from LaCrosse, WI Newly remodeled inside, this cozy home will truly make you feel like you can kick back, relax, and enjoy the beauty that surrounds. The decor inside the home will give you the rustic/cabin vibe, and with a fire pit in the backyard you can enjoy the views of the bluff. You won’t even know you’re in a town when you stay at Milk Weed Ave. The home is located on the largest lot in Brownsville with a very large front yard. You are welcome to use the washer/dryer located in the basement of the home, and also welcome to use the garage. The quaint town of Brownsville is right along the Mississippi, and there are so many things to do in the area including fishing, hiking, sight seeing, etc. If you feel like a bit more of a drive the Owl Center is located in Houston, MN and isn’t too far, and LaCrosse, WI has a lot to offer as well for all of the shopping and dining. You’ll find our home to be in the perfect location to relax and also a great home-base for exploring the area! My husband and I live right down the road and can be as interactive as you’d like. We want you to just enjoy your stay, so if you need anything please don’t hesitate to reach out. Brownsville is a small town with a population near 600. It is right along the Mississippi which offers opportunities for fishing, bird watching, boating, etc. In Brownsville Saxon Hall is only a 3 minute walk from the home and you’ll find delicious pizza and great service. There is a gas station in town, less than a mile from the home. Down the road (2.5 miles South on Hwy 26) you’ll find the Shell Horn Bar and Grill. Another great option for dining and drinks. If you have kiddos that need to burn energy there is a public park right in town and easy to walk to from our place.
