Watering Cove Cottage, offers a rare opportunity to stay in a Downeast Maine waterfront cottage, with a pocket beach on the cove. The perfect place to get away, relax, unwind and escape from the outside world. The cottage has all the comforts one could need. Large deck to catch the fresh sea breezes and look out at the harbor. The house is steps away from the ocean, with a great little beach front to walk and pick sea glass. Entrance to the property has a large deck. Once inside there is a fully equipped kitchen and dining space. Living room has a queen size sofa bed with privacy doors if you wanted to bring a guest or children. First floor has full bathroom. Second floor, is a large master suite with king bed, full bathroom, and sitting area to look out to the ocean and maybe just relax! Schoodic Acadia National Park is about 6 miles from the property. Great hiking and biking trails in this 2,366 acre park, with spectacular views of Frenchman Bay to Bar Harbor and Acadia Mountains. A new off road bike path runs 8.3 miles throughout the park. There is a ferry located in Winter Harbor that runs daily trips to Bar Harbor. Island Explorer is a free shuttle service throughout Acadia National Park. Watering Cove Cottage, is only a short drive to Corea Harbor, is a classic Downeast fishing village. Small and quiet with excellent views of the harbor and lobster boats. There is a great restaurant on the wharf, with the best lobster rolls.
