The most spacious accommodations at over 500 sq. ft., this suite features a luxury king bed with pencil post frame, dressed in long staple strand organic sheets. The large sitting area is decorated in soft pinks, and creams adding to a feeling of rest and relaxation while you sit back to enjoy the gentle flames of the remote gas fireplace. Six large windows provide plenty of natural light, or draw the blinds for shade. It’s bright large private bathroom with jetted spa shower offers a touch of opulence, and plenty of room for formal dressing. The Oliver Phelps house was built in 1813 and expanded in 1830. An example of Greek revival architecture, it retains lovely features for today’s guests: twelve-foot ceilings, wide plank floors, blown glass window panes, old-growth trees on the grounds, and the spaciousness of a great Federal period home.
