Countryside Private Guest Suite

Welcome to Estacada Farmhouse, our property in the countryside. We are nestled equally distant from Mt Hood National Forest and the City of Portland. We look forward to your stay. The entire home is a stand alone guest house on a 2 acre property where the owners reside in the main house. This newly constructed space was built with the same high standards the owners considered with their own home. This luxurious space was created with guests in mind. A studio space furnished with a queen bed and a pull out double sofa contains a kitchenette equipped with coffee, tea, fridge, and microwave. Enjoy your morning coffee at a small dining table for four inside or on the patio adirondack chairs. Everything about this space will leave you feeling relaxed, from the rain shower in the bathroom, to the property's jacuzzi. Blackout curtains ensure your privacy and opportunity to hit snooze. Some countryside favorites are the quiet of the birds singing, the neighbor cows mooing, looking up to the bright stars on a clear night, and the smell of sweet grass in the summer time. For warm nights there is a ceiling fan and a heater for the chilly morning. The owners highly recommend lounging in front of the fire pit with a glass of local wine to watch the sunset. Don't worry about the property cat looking for a cuddle or the little dog looking for a pet. They are kind and gentle animals with full access to property grounds. The hosts are available for all their guest's needs. Extra linens, towels, toiletries, pillows, and blankets can be supplied at your request. Let us know between 9AM and 9PM when there is a need. Parking - One car may park directly in front of the guest suite. Additional parking is available in the main house's driveway. One additional car and a recreational vehicle can be accommodated. Contact the hosts for additional parking needs if more space is required. Communication regarding one's estimated arrival time is required. Guests must advise the hosts the first names of their party. There is an electric gate on the property that must be opened and your eta is necessary. Once on the property, the guest will be given a remote control to operate the gate. Upon departure, please deposit all trash items in the trash container near the garage. @visitestacada on (Hidden by Airbnb) has great resources for activities in and out of town to start planning your trip. The nearby bodies of water and surrounding trails are excellent for hiking, cycling, rafting, kayaking, fishing, and boating (visit e (Website hidden by Airbnb) for more resources). A long walk or bike ride around the neighborhood is always a great opportunity to see the local farm animals, everything from peacocks to goats, and neighborhood dogs who love to greet passersby. A car is necessary to reach Estacada and the surrounding nature such as Mt Hood, Promontory Lake Marina, and Eagle Fern Park. Getting around locally is easy by bike and all you need to reach Stone Circle Cider are some walking shoes. You might want to bring you bikes just to ride around the neighborhood. Both Ilana and Jim are fully vaccinated. Should the guests prefer to interact with the hosts while masked, please communicate it when you make the reservation or prior to arrival. Contactless check-in is also available. Simply request it before arrival.
