On the far side of a densely wooded tiny home community is Beaverdam Cabin, a rustic, yet upscale "Low Country" tiny home shrouded in natural cedar shake and poplar bark siding. Beaverdam was designed to be a couple's retreat and event space, as the cabin offers a private bedroom with a king-size bed and designer interior detailing. 12' ceilings and an abundance of natural light make this home feel much larger inside than its "tiny" moniker might suggest. There are no lofts or bunk beds, but there is a very comfy sleeper sofa, as well as an exceptional camping spot just below the cabin by the creek, weather permitting. Oh, and about that event space: the covered porch is the largest our community has to offer, with a large sitting area and outdoor dining space, both heated from two large ceiling heaters and cooled by multiple ceiling fans in warmer weather. The home, fire pit, and grounds are surrounded by woods and completely private. You can't see other homes or porches from the homesite, and there is ample parking and seating areas. There's also a park-style grill post-mounted by the home (read: bring on the charcoal!), so this is the perfect spot to host your next corporate retreat, happy hour, or family gathering while your guests stay in nearby tiny homes, all located within a short walking distance. Beaverdam's covered porch overlooks a wet-weather, mountain creek and is only a short hike from the top of Deer Lick Falls; you can often hear the water spilling over the falls from the porch, particularly in the spring and fall. Access to the two-mile hiking trail lies right behind the cabin, so whether you gather with family and friends by the creek, enjoy drinks and dinner on the porch, or cozy up to your loved one by the fire pit, Beaverdam offers a truly unique tiny home experience.
