This four-bedroom, four-bathroom home sits on a lovely wooded lot, with a serene creek at the edge of its backyard, a private hot tub tucked away below the house, and the Michiana Shores Country Club private association beach within a 1,000-foot stroll. Walk home from a day on the lake at Highland Road Beach, rinse off the sand in the outdoor shower, and slip into the hot tub to take off the chill of Lake Michigan's refreshing waters. Step inside to find a spacious open kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a large island with granite countertops, and bar stools where you can grab a quick afternoon snack. The kitchen opens into a family room with a wood-burning fireplace and a dining room overlooking the back deck. There's also a screened-in porch with another dining space - a wonderful spot for card games on warm summer nights. Spend your evenings in the basement game room, where you'll find a shuffleboard table, a cabinet full of board games, and a poker table for six. Light a fire in the backyard firepit, listen to the sounds of the creek trickling by the house, and keep an eye open for deer and other animals passing through.
