Delightful Lakehome for the Whole Family!

Welcome to your stay at the lake! Your home is steps away from two lakes and the a private park, which boasts of two tennis courts, a small softball diamond, a basketball court, a volleyball area, and a very unique vintage playground area that is loved by children. You are minutes from golf, wineries, putt-putt, ice cream & quaint shopping. This is a unique setting your family will love to call home! The house is listed as a full home rental. It has a full kitchen, six bedrooms and a 2 full baths. The second floor has a walk-out balcony that is wonderful for private sunning or watching sunsets. Access to the shared swim area on Round Lake is quiet, but lovely. Our two kayaks on Devils Lake are available for use off of our private group dock. The park is open daily until 10 pm and all the amenities are available for your use. I will be in touch at all times of your stay, and can be available if needed. Guests have access to the private park, as well as a quiet swim area on Round Lake. The park is open until 10 p.m. daily. There is a private fire pit for roasting s'mores and gathering around the campfire ring. Parking for three cars is available in the side lot. The cottage is Round Lake access, and is nestled between two great all-sports lakes, Round Lake and Devils Lake. There is a public launch on both lakes (daily in/out) for larger boats, and Devil's Lake is famous for its very active sandbar, especially on weekends. We are a short walk to dining and a local bar that has live music on the weekends and Taco Tuesdays! Bike rides, running, morning swims, and romantic sunsets await you! We are close to MIS Speedway and great shopping in Manitou Beach and Brooklyn. There is a local winery nearby that often has live music. There are great places all around the area. You will want to come back year after year! This beautiful home will accommodate your family where memories will abound. Get up on Saturday morning and attend the Farmers Market right down the street throughout the summer months from late May to early September. Enjoy coffee in the mornings and ice cream in the evening hours. Dine at the Manitou Bar/Grill where you will find delicious prepared food and micro beers on tap. The Highland Inn is a great local bar and is a short walk from the cottage. This house has all amenities including washer/ dryer as well as plentiful parking and wi-fi. Rob's Rental is located at Devils Lake for daily rentals. Please phone Rob (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) far in advance due to early bookings each summer. The lake has 1400 acres for all water activities with two sandbars to relax on. Great fishing with blue gill, crappie, large and small mouth bass, perch, pike and walleye. You can fish from your kayaks on Round Lake as well. Same great fish, as the lakes are connected. We are approximately 8.5 miles from MIS and 60 miles to Metro Detroit Airport.
