Mountainside Cabin is located above the village of Northfield with long-range mountain views. The house is occupied by myself and my partner John and our three labradors and Simon the cat. Our log home consists of three bedrooms available through Air B and B, two of the rooms share a bath one is a private en'suite. Our 70-foot deck is the living room in the summer. We offer each room separately or combined for guests. We allow guests to enjoy the house with us and may use the kitchen for light use. We are happy to welcome you to our home and will interact as much or as little as you desire. We are happy to share our knowledge of our all things Vermont and let you set the pace for as much or as little interaction as you would like. Northfield, home of the Norwich University is 1 mile away. Sugarbush, Waterbury, both half hour, Stowe an hour, Montpelier Capital of Vermont 15 min. The cozy town of Northfield has a warm hometown fell with it's own brewery, coffee shop and restaurants. You will need to have at minimum of a front-wheel-drive car in the winter, we are on a dirt road that is town maintained. We are 8 min from Interstate 89 off Exit 5.
