A large patio with fire-pit atop the break water is the perfect place to watch the shimmering Sun rise over the Lake & after sunset watch the moon rise showing its shimmering light over the water while Listening to the calming waves as you Star gaze far away from city lights Roast marshmallows and watch the stars :) Eagles fly overhead along the coast, monarch butterflies crossing the Lake on their migration, many birds and wildlife to watch. Bring your kayaks and life vests for fun on the lake. Due to record setting high water levels our giant beach is now underwater, no one has any beach at this time. We do have a walk thru to the water "Update" the water level has gone down some & now showing signs of possible beach coming back! Come see the amazing color changes during the fall! Great Cross-Country Skiing & hiking at nearby Harrington & Kohler Andrae State Park and areas during the winter months. The cottage is UV light and Ozone "O"3 cleaned, all surfaces meticulously cleaned, sanitized & wiped with disinfectant. This practice is done for each and every guest visit. UV Air purifier system built into the high efficiency furnace. New fresh linens, towels, pillows, etc. with each guest stay :) Smoke detectors, co detectors, fire extinguishers are installed.
