Built brand new in 2017, this is a fully automated smarthome with smart lighting, brand new furniture, state of the art electronics, (5) 4k flatscreen TVs each with an Apple TV and access to a wide variety of cable TV channels, HBO, Showtime, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, etc. There’s a large audio / videophile grade Dolby Atmos movie theater in the home with 10 leather theater recliner seats and a 150” widescreen. Just steps from the fully disappearing pocket sliding doors is a vanishing edge spa overlooking the mountains and lake. The fully equipped outdoor kitchen features a large Kamado grill, fridge, kegerator, and icemaker, as well as a wood-burning fireplace. Separate game room for kids with 80 inch 4K TV, surround sound, Xbox (includes Xbox Game Pass with over 100 games), and Apple TV gives the kids on your trip (as well as playful adults) full access to the gaming and entertainment world. Whole-home audio powered by Sonos (you will be able to control the music with your smartphone or the remote controls within the house) with over 30 high fidelity speakers inside and out covering the entire property and all entertaining spaces. The guesthouse is commonly used a poolhouse, a private classroom or just another fun place to hang out. If you enjoy hiking or mountain biking there are many trails nearby. You can walk or mountain bike down to the lake, or up to the reservoir just minutes away. Lake Hodges is walking distance and is open for boating, kayaking, stand up paddleboarding and fishing on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Boats and other equipment may be rented on site. Full access to at least one garage space (please let us know if you require more garage spaces) with high-speed Tesla charger (available on advance request - charging billed separately). The Neighborhood: Just a short walk from the house is the beautiful Lake Hodges (for boating, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and fishing - equipment available for rent on-site) or the famous Hernandez Hideaway Mexican restaurant for an epic meal. There are hiking and mountain biking trails all over the place. To the West, it's just a short drive to the beaches of Del Mar. The coast of San Diego has so much to offer from coffee shops to restaurants to surfing to nightlife. To the East, just 5 to 10 minutes away there's a great town with coffee shops, restaurants, a large shopping mall, and the San Diego Safari Park (also known as the Wild Animal Park) just 15 minutes from the house. This is a very central location for experiencing all that San Diego has to offer. Getting Around: Uber usually takes only about 5 minutes to arrive and we can help you get a rental vehicle delivered to you if needed. There's a public bus stop within walking distance as well for the adventurous :-). Other Things to Note: Upon booking we will send you a full e-sign rental agreement (electronic agreement and signature), which must be completed and signed within 24 hours, along with a photo ID of the primary renter. All guests staying on the property must be listed along with ages of each guest. Interaction with Guests: The property is set up for self-check-in, however, someone will be available remotely to show you how to use the various features either at check-in or shortly thereafter.
