Ludlow Lookout: Heated Pool + Okemo Shuttle

In order to book this property you MUST send us a message including the names and ages of all guests who will be staying under the reservation. You'll have beautiful views for miles from the top of this secluded knoll overlooking Ludlow, while still enjoying all the conveniences of being on the Okemo shuttle. Located in the heart of town, our home is just 1 mile to the base of Okemo or 1.6 miles to the clock tower, with access to the free Okemo shuttle just past the home's driveway. (Shuttle is operated by Okemo Mountain during ski season, guests are responsible for confirming shuttle times and availability.) We also have a heated pool for our summer guests, which is kept at a comfortable 80 degrees between mid-May to mid-September. The space Enjoy three distinct living areas that can be opened up or closed off at your discretion, allowing for ultimate privacy even while vacationing with friends and extended family. You will have two kitchens to use, loaded with all the necessary cooking accessories, including a Keurig with multiple flavors of coffee pods and an InstaPot. In the evenings after hitting the slopes or cycling, relax in front of four Roku-integrated TVs with Netflix provided on us or enjoy quality time with the family playing board games or putting together a puzzle. Your group will be comfortable in this ample five bedroom, four full bath home. Outdoors you can enjoy a massive firepit during cool nights or a dip in the pool during the summer months. Take a break from city living and use the telescope to stargaze, enjoying clear nights and discovering the beauty of the galaxy. The nature setting of our home may also give you a glimpse of local deer or foxes as well as a chance to bird watch. Our property is also electric vehicle friendly, with charging outlets on the home's exterior. All this and many other delights await you at the Ludlow Lookout! NOTE: The property very comfortably hosts 10 guests in 5 bedrooms, but can accommodate up to 14 guests at an additional $25 per guest, per night, for each guest over 10. This fee helps cover the additional cleaning requirements that extra guests incur. Guest access Due to the nature of this property, atop a knoll, four-wheel drive and/or snow tires may be required (and is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!) for the steep driveway during the snow season (early November through late April). The street is conveniently plowed by the town of Ludlow because we are in city limits, and the driveway is plowed privately whenever snowfall exceeds 3 inches, once accumulation has stopped. Please plan accordingly for weather in Vermont! Our plow service will come by once per day on snowfall days. Guests are responsible for any on-demand snow service needs outside of that scheduled plowing.
