Since well water also supplies washing machine, it is very important to conserve water by running machine efficiently. Cottage is also on a septic system. Please do not flush anything down the toilet other than natural waste and toilet paper. Lake Scugog is great for swimming, boating and fishing. Guests may want to bring swim shoes (especially for children) as the Lake is known for the occasional Zebra Mussel.
