Endless activities in the area, whether you are planning to visit Massanutten (skiing, tubing, indoor and outdoor waterpark), go hiking at Shenandoah National Park, visit Luray Caverns, or JMU. If you'd prefer a quiet getaway, get comfortable in front of the fire at the cabin or bring your gear to fish and kayak! Bubble Tent by river for relaxing during colder months with solar string lights, no electricity Recently updated 600 square foot cabin that can accommodate up to 4 guests. For ideal comfort, we recommend no more than 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. The bedroom contains a queen bed and bathroom with walk-in shower. The living room couch pulls out into a double bed. Additional Amenities: Gas grill, AC and ceiling fan, electric fireplace heater, covered porch, and private fire pit. TV with no cable or local channels; log in to your personal Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc. streaming account to watch movies and shows. DVD's available. Wifi speed supports Zoom and your remote working needs. Please note that should you plan on bringing your furry friends (2 pet maximum) there will be a $35 dollar non-refundable, per pet fee for the entire trip. Note that this is not a per night fee. This charge will also be billed to you through the AirBnB resolution center. Our check out time of 10:00 AM is firm, as our cleaning staff have multiple properties to clean before the next guests arrive. Guests will be billed $50.00 per hour for a late check out beginning at 10:15 AM. We do realize that sometimes packing can be cumbersome, however, we want our vacation rentals to be sparkling clean for our next vacationers. We anticipate and appreciate your understanding of this check out time. We take extra steps to clean and sanitize frequently touched surfaces and wash ALL linens, bedspreads and towels in high heat between reservations. There is a local racetrack several miles away. If you book on a race night (most Saturdays April through September), you will hear the race from the cabin. You can see the full schedule on the Shenandoah Speedway website.
