Antelople Run * February Romantic Getaways*
FEBRUARY SPECIAL" Romantic Getaways* includes Chico Swim Tokens, Chocolate Covered Strawberries, bottle of wine. BOOK SOON. This is the perfect location from which to launch your Montana adventure! The Long House is 2,200 sq.ft. and has been designed to accommodate two families with kids comfortably, or a multi-generational family, or a few couples, or a bunch of friends! The long and narrow floor plan has two master suites on the ground floor separated by a large great room and open kitchen. Above the masters are more sleeping spaces and a full bath connected by a bridge; the West Loft Bedroom with its adjacent great room overlook, and the East Sleeping Loft with its small reading nook overlooking the great room. The Long House centers around the Great Room, a room built for entertainment and relaxation. Oriented due south, the room has 12’ tall windows that span the length of the room. A gas fireplace is centered on the living area with a 65” television above. The windows frame incredible views of Emigrant Peak and Dexter Point Peak, two iconic and hike-able summits. The open kitchen is beautifully designed to suit a fantastic cooking and entertaining experience. The dining area has a custom table for ten and the perfect place to share a meal or big poker game with friends. A signature feature of the Long House is the huge roof. The roof has been carefully designed to allow the natural sunlight and warmth to reach to the back wall of the Great Room in winter but provide deep shade to the house and terrace all summer. The north overhang provides a large carport with space for two vehicles. The southern overhang of the roof fully shelters a 750 sf terrace, complete with adirondack chairs, a table for ten, dual-fuel grill and a gas firepit. You can sit on the lodge-like south terrace around the gas fire pit in the rain and snow, remain warm and dry, and enjoy a beverage as you take in the view to the south towards Yellowstone. We are managing the 30 acres of Antelope Run to increase biodiversity and biomass of the land. We have an ecological restoration plan to carefully improve the habitat for all species that share the acreage. Pronghorn are regular visitors; mule deer wander by and the elk occasionally bed down in our meadows. If you are lucky, you may catch a gray fox or badger ducking in and out of their dens. Bald eagles, osprey and golden eagles ride the thermal updrafts created by the geological bench and innumerable song birds flay about –yet another incentive to sit on the south terrace and watch these magnificent birds soar by. Antelope Run is situated within the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and we are doing all we can to support our local species from the smallest pollinators to the largest megafauna. The Long House is built to accommodate 9 guests: • EAST MASTER SUITE: 1 King Bed + Private Ensuite Bath + TV • WEST MASTER SUITE: 1 King Bed + TV + Ensuite Bath with shared door to Great Room + Rain Shower • EAST SLEEPING LOFT (Bunk room): 3 XL twin beds (can be pushed together for couples) + TV • WEST LOFT BEDROOM: 1 Queen Bed + TV • LOFT BATH: Shared full bath at the top of the stair for West Loft Bedroom and East Sleeping Loft • WEST OVERLOOK LOFT: can be made up for extra guests upon request.
