Away from all the noise, you won't want to leave our cottage once you get here. Upstairs bedroom has a private balcony with breathtaking views. Bay views from almost every window in the house. Perfect getaway for couples or the whole family. 60 inch Smart TV! Come build some memories! This charming beach cottage and private point on the Bay is a little slice of heaven. It has quickly become one of my favorite places on the planet, and we can't wait to share it with you! Tucked away in a private Chesapeake Bay Beach community, with friendly neighbors. Great for kids. In addition to the point and beach (to the left of the home in the aerial photo), there is a larger neighborhood beach just a short golf cart ride away (cart provided during your stay). Throughout the summer there is live music in the pavilion by the Beach. Master bed/bath on the first floor. Second floor offers two additional bedrooms: A Kingsize bed with private balcony, and a smaller bedroom for the kids with three twin beds. Sip coffee on one of the two decks over looking the expansive bay. Fall asleep in the hammock listening to the waves crash against the rip rap shoreline. We provide a number of yard games as well as 2 kayaks. Fully stocked kitchen. Super fast Internet. 60 inch smart TV with all of your favorite streaming apps. Sprint doesn’t get good service in Reedville but Verizon works great. About the neighborhood: Chesapeake Bay Beach Estates is a golf cart community right on the Chesapeake Bay. The neighborhood offers a wonderful private beach for its residents and guests. It’s a hodgepodge of different homes. Some of the lots have beautiful homes and some have campers and trailers. The people in this neighborhood are incredibly friendly. We love it here and we know you will too! About Reedville: Reedville is a quaint remote little town in the Northern neck of Virginia. There are four wineries, several great local restaurants, and a cute little ice cream shop. Reedville is directly across from Tangier Island. You can take a cruise over to the island for the day from a nearby marina. The closest grocery store is in Heathsville which you will pass on your way in from Richmond. The towns of Kilmarnock and Irvington are about a half hour away and are great places to visit as well. Lots of boutique shops and restaurants. Irvington is home to the famous Tides inn which is worth a visit. If you are looking for night life, bars, shopping, movie theatres, etc, Reedville probably isn’t the place for you. But if you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing vacation with your family and friends in one of the most beautiful places on the planet, you just hit the jackpot. Come unplug and let us share our little piece of heaven with you. You simply won’t want to leave once you get here. I live a few hours away but am always available, and have friends in the area who can help if needed. Reedville is a quaint fisherman's town in the Northern Neck of Virginia. Chesapeake Beach Estates is a private beach community in Reedville. Most people get around the neighborhood by golf cart. In fact the only way to get to the community beach is by golf cart, which we provide during your stay.
