From the moment you enter the Last Buck Lodge you are met with a stunning view that encompasses the entire valley, Eagle Nest Lake, the surrounding mountains and beyond. The home offers an open floor plan with a large great room, large master retreat plus five more bedrooms (two non-conforming), 3.5 bathrooms, and a second living area downstairs with kitchenette, dining area, game room, pool table, foosball table, and dry sauna. Finishing touches include hardwood floors, granite countertops, massive fireplace, hot tub and views from almost every room. Located only minutes from Monte Verde Lake, ski slopes, mountain biking & hiking trails, zip lining, horseback riding, fishing, and golfing.  You can also access Cougar Trail directly from the property to enjoy the miles of wonderful hiking & biking trails that Angel Fire has to offer.  While Angel Fire is a wonderful place to truly get away, you can still stay connected with fiber optic high speed internet and smart TVs throughout the home including Hulu live TV service. For dining, Angel Fire has a Lowe's Market grocery store and a number of restaurants available including:  Angel Fired Pizza, Elements at the Angel Fire Country Club, El Jefe Margaritas y Mas, Enchanted Circle Brewing Company, Jeanette's Food Cart & Catering, Legends Grill, Mikuna Grill, Par & Grill at the Golf Course, Pizza Stop, Subway, Summit Smokehouse, The Village Haus, The Bakery & Café, and Zeb's. From Angel Fire a number of day trip options are available including Taos (28.7 miles), Red River (33.9 miles), Taos Ski Valley (47.5 miles), and Santa Fe (96.1 miles).  We can provide plenty of recommendations for activities in the area. During the winter months, please keep in mind you are traveling to the mountains. We have a plow service available upon demand and we make every effort to ensure the property is accessible upon arrival and throughout your stay. However, please be prepared for extreme weather conditions as it is necessary to have 4-wheel or all-wheel drive and chains throughout Angel Fire during snows in the winter.  The Last Buck Lodge is not responsible for guests' inability to reach the property due to the lack of a 4WD/AWD vehicle.
