There are only two highways: I-95 running north and south, and I-395 running east and west between Bangor and Brewer. BIKING This is an option in warmer months, though most would consider it for recreation rather than transportation. There are currently only a couple of multi-use trails along Bangor roads, so most biking will be shared with motor vehicles. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION The Community Connector Bus has routes all over the city as well as to neighboring towns. PRIVATE TRANSPORTATION There are various taxi companies as well as Uber and Lyft drivers available for hire. Concord Coach Lines and Greyhound offer frequent service to Boston and beyond.
