Seaside Cottage: Opened in 2021

Stay with us… Welcome to our beautifully renovated cottage which is situated in a prime location within Seaside Heights (very close to Seaside Park), NJ. It was fully renovated and built with comfort and efficiency in mind. It opened in the spring of 2021. Come experience a vacation stay at the "Seaside Cottage". Location, Location, Location… Our property is walking distance from the beach, (1 block), and in close proximity to beautiful sunrises + sunsets, the boardwalk, mini golf, water park, arcades and rides; as well as some of the best restaurants in Seaside Heights (offering a wide pallet of culinary options such as: American, Mexican, Asian, Irish Pubs, Italian, local breweries and several breakfast spots). Local water attractions (i.e. boating, sailing, wind surfing, crabbing, parasailing, jet skiing, kayaking and fishing) and the very desirable Island Beach State Park; full of natural wildlife and walking / biking paths, are just waiting to be explored. (Bring your own bike or rent one locally.) Want a change in scenery? Make it home base and plan some day trips during your stay, (all within 45-90 min drive), such as: Atlantic City, Point Pleasant Aquarium, Barnegat Bay, Smithville, Cape May, Six Flags Great Adventure, Lambertville, or New Hope, just to name a few. Visit other local beach towns for an afternoon stroll, local shopping or a stop for ice cream, (there are plenty of options within a 5-30 minute drive). This is a perfect location for an active family looking for daily activities or anyone who just wants to relax in the sun and enjoy a quiet evening on the grounds, or a combination of both… Events: The town offers several family centric events such as fireworks, concerts, movie nights, wine tastings, farmers markets, etc. Please visit the local listings (i.e. exit82.com) for more detailed information about dates and times. Stay Duration: During Peak Season we require a 7-night (weekly) rental; Checking-In on Saturday and Checking-Out the following Saturday. During the Off-Season, we require a 3-night minimum. Due to the surge in work from home opportunities, many couples and families are interested in a change of scenery and having a home-away-from-home for a longer period of time, even during the Off-Season. (Overview of Configuration + Amenities): The cottage is a single floor home, which includes 3 bedrooms: Bedroom 1: Queen-sized bed Bedroom 2: Twin over Full bunk bed Bedroom 3: Twin Daybed (can also be used as a second sitting area) Living Room: Queen sleeper pull out couch This provides for a comfortable stay for a maximum of 6 persons. It is equipped with washer and dryer, kitchen with granite counter tops, microwave, stainless steel appliances, full sized refrigerator, and eating area for six (6), plus a living room sitting area. **Bed linens, towels and beach chairs are not provided and should be brought by the guests. In case this is a significant issue, kindly contact the host.** We have a private fenced in outdoor space with a Weber BBQ and outdoor eating area on the side of the house, and a small front porch sitting area; all of which is private to our cottage. The property is approximately 800 sq. feet and is ideal for a single family with 4-6 members or 2 families with 1- 2 small children or a couple looking for some ample space. While the property does have multiple sleeping spaces, we prefer to limit the maximum capacity to six (6) persons. We want your say to be as comfortable as possible, and this capacity is designed with that in mind. The cottage is a single building, part of a condo association, which has some common grounds (driveway and parking). However, the property does have private dedicated outdoor spaces (side eating area + front sitting area), which are exclusive to our unit and our guests. We are only hosting families and will not accept any prom or graduation groups and the primary renter must be 25 years or older. All house rules are clearly stipulated prior to booking. Smart Home Features: We are a "smart home"; we believe in technology and the ease that it can bring to our homes. As such, all TV are smart TV’s (basic cable + local channels are available) and High-Speed Wi-Fi is included. Guests will be able to sign in with their Netflix, etc., accounts. We have a smart speaker in the house enabling you to play music. Each bedroom is equipped with a TV. (There are 4 TVs in total in the cottage.) The cottage has 2 exits with keypad entry for self-check in and easy access during your stay. Split Heat and A/C in-wall units regulate the temperature throughout the home, The furniture purchased for this cottage is stylish, comfortable and sturdy. It was not intended to be disposable, but rather designed to fit the space and provide function. Bed frames are sturdy (made of metal or all wood), topped with highly rated mattresses and pillows, hoping to bring relaxing and comfortable sleeping nights to our guests. We offer a fully stocked kitchen with all your cooking tools requirements: dishes, cups, pots, tea kettle, serving platters, eating & cooking utensils, coffee machine, toaster, chopper, blender, baking items, etc. Organizational units to save space have been installed within the bedroom closets, and luggage racks are provided to make unpacking and packing easier. Lastly, since the house was recently renovated/purchased, we have undergone a detailed home inspection, which means you can sleep with confidence knowing our property has passed rigorous inspection meeting all city and state guidelines.
