We want you to know we are doing our part to ensure that our guests' stays with us will be as safe as possible and have instituted three measures to maintain a safe stay. First, prior to your visit the premises will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected consistent with the CDC's guidelines. Second, for additional precautions, guests' stays will be spaced further apart by implementing earlier check-outs and later check-ins. Third, all of our staff who are involved in the preparation of the home for our guests' stays will have been thoroughly cleared for health issues. It can be a great launching pad for a holistic Seattle experience or to use as a home base for exploring everything around Lake Union and Seattle. Sticking around Eastlake you will see a diverse collection of architecture ranging from multi-level townhomes, like this one, to floating homes (houseboats). Hang out at one of the parks along the water or at one of the restaurants to watch the seaplanes as you enjoy your coffee or, better yet, your favorite cocktail. Feeling antsy? Take a ride in a seaplane yourself, join a bocce ball game or enjoy one of the many water activities available (kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding or boating). In a little over an hour you can be at Snoqualmie Pass for skiing, snowboarding and tubing. There are many hiking options within 30 minutes of the house. We're happy to share our recommendations with you! GETTING AROUND Downtown Seattle is just a 10-minute drive. If you don't want to drive or don't have a car, no problem, Uber and Lyft are widely available or you can walk to the Lake Union Streetcar. The airport is about 20 minutes by car or taxi. You can also get around Eastlake by bus; there are at least 5 lines and routes that have stops nearby. There are biking paths around Lake Union that connect to the Burke-Gilman trail.
