Welcome to Elle J Retreat house! This house has the Michiana cottage feel with beautiful pine flooring, but is updated with all of the modern amenities . This three bedroom/two bath home is tucked away in a woodsy setting so you can relax in peace and quiet. There is a fully stocked kitchen. The lovely screened-in porch is a great place to enjoy your morning coffee. 4 vintage adult bikes/2 kid bikes and beach floats available for your use. Elle J Retreat house is the perfect getaway spot anytime of the year! The spacious outdoor deck with seating and a gas grill is perfect for family cook-outs. The house is set on a private wooded lot with much privacy. It is a short walk to Lake Michigan's Stop 37 for sunset. You can spend your summers on the beach; falls enjoying the changing tree foliage, a winery/brewery, or even a Notre Dame Football Game; Winter is great for sledding and then snuggling around the fireplace; Spring is great for all of the local hiking trails and golf courses. Elle J Retreat is 2 blocks from Stop 50 Wood Fire Pizza and the horse stables where you can take a trail ride. The property backs up to the open wooded field where sometimes you can catch a glimpse of the horses running along the fence. We are 8 blocks to the Stop 37. If tides are high, stop 41 1/2 is a 10 minute bike ride. Blueberry picking is 2 miles away. Many apple orchards are 15 minutes away.
